The Curse Girl: Kindle Book of the Day

Addictive and surprising, author Kate Ellison's imaginative The Curse Girl is a retelling of the classic Beauty and the Beast storyline with a modern twist. Romance and paranormal fans will find plenty of what they love infused into an already enchanting tale. The cover is gorgeous, the reviews are glowing, and the setting kind of reminds me of a cross between Downton Abbey and Hogwarts. This is a book that belongs in your collection. Get it now!

Name: The Curse Girl
Rating: 4.5 over 16 reviews
Price: 2.99
Description: Seventeen-year-old Bee Hendrick's life took a sharp turn for the worse when her father lured her to a mysterious mansion outside town to rid his family of a magical debt. Now she's trapped inside an enchanted house with rooms that rearrange themselves at random, servants whose bodies are slowing morphing out of existence...and then there's Will, who is simultaneously the hottest and most frustrating guy she’s ever met.

At first Bee's only goal is to smash open a window and escape, but there’s just one problem... No one can leave until the spell is lifted, so if she wants to be free she must first break the curse cast over the house and its inhabitants. And she doesn't have the slightest idea how to do that.

Will wants nothing to do with Bee or her help, but he's running out of options. Time is almost up.

They must work together to break the curse, or they'll be prisoners forever.

Reviews: "In some other Beauty and the Beast retellings the Beast is sweet and nice making you wonder how he got cursed in the first place. Even though the beast in this version looks like a man most of the time she still manages to make him quite beastly at the beginning. I also like the modern day element. This is a very well written story. You should read it. (Yes I'm talking to you...YES YOU! What are you waiting for?) I am going to go on to read her other stories."
