Similar to Cordy, which we showcased last week, Sleep Jack is another beautiful game from SilverTree Media, developers I'm quickly becoming a fan of. This one has you zooming through space in a boy's dreams in a fun and colorful adventure that'll have everyone smiling! Check it out!
Name: Sleepy Jack
Rating: 4.5 stars over 2 reviews
Price: 1.99
Each night Jack dreams of his favorite toys: laser-blasting Galaxianoids, gunpowder-packed desert dwellers, electricity-zapping creatures of the Deep Deep Sea, and many more. Join him on wild nighttime adventures as he catches elusive Zs and neutralizes toybox nemeses that come to life only in his dreams.
Help Jack navigate through 40 dazzling dream worlds--flying, dodging, collecting, shooting, and bombing his way through each stunning level. You can choose from three control options (Classic, Slider, or Accelerometer) to find your favorite way to fly. Once you've gotten a feel for the controls, you'll be doing barrel-rolls through Jack's subconscious like a veteran pilot.

This is something I hope to see a lot more of in the future--old arcade and console games coming back for the Fire. I used to LOVE playing X-Men back at the arcade (I was always Nightcrawler), and the thought of bashing those robots again is very appealing. Note that most of the people with Kindle Fires gave this game 4 or 5 stars.
Name: X-Men
Rating: 2.7 stars over 80 reviews
Price: 0.99
X-Men is a side-scrolling action game with simple, easy-to-learn controls. The three buttons at the bottom right corner of the screen allow your character to jump, punch, and unleash a devastating mutant power attack. Be careful, though--your mutant power can be used to clear whole swarms of enemies, but using it will drain a portion of your health or consume a Mutant Power Orb.
New additions to the original arcade game include the ability to change difficulties and select a starting level. You may choose to start from any level you have already unlocked while playing through the game. Select one of six different X-Men superheroes to begin your adventure--play solo, or host a multiplayer game and invite up to three other players to join the fight.

The art puzzles in this app definitely have their appeal. You'll be trying to adjust blocks by painting or breaking them in order to make different parts of the painting. Free and worth checking out!
